Why does the PH Miracle Diet not include dairy products?

The pH Miracle diet eliminates acidifying foods and the associated behaviour patterns. This will help you to control obesity. This diet includes milk, which is surprising to many people, especially those living in Western countries. Other populations around the globe don’t eat dairy products. Dairy products are not needed for good health. In fact, they can be quite harmful to the body.

Milk and other dairy products have been a part of our lives since childhood. We don’t realize that dairy products can contain large amounts of fat and protein. These are acid-forming when they are consumed. Our bodies produce acid from milk from cows and all related products. While milk from cows, sheep and cheeses still produce acid, they are produced in smaller quantities due to their lower fat and protein content. Clarified butter, however, is alkaline because it contains only short-chain fats.

In 2003, the Harvard School of Public Health published an updated pyramid to indicate imbalances that were not apparent on the FDA’s original pyramid. Although acid and alkaline foods weren’t mentioned, it indicated a higher preference for alkaline foods. The inclusion of one dairy serving per day or a calcium supplement was one of the most striking differences between the pyramids. The FDA recommends 2 to 3 daily dairy servings, as well as other nutritional supplements.

Dr. Meir stampfer, a Harvard School of Public Health professor and Chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Nutrition, explained the differences between the two pyramids. He stated that Americans consume too many dairy products each day. The FDA recommends that the body consume two to three daily servings of dairy products. However, high calcium intake can cause bone loss. A supplement can be taken by the average adult to provide the required calcium. Excessive calcium intake can lead to certain cancers. There is no evidence that calcium supplementation prevents osteoporosis.

Even though dairy is often portrayed as a food, it cannot be considered a pure food. We should not forget the 50-year-old fact that an average cow produced 22,000 pounds of milk per annum. Today, the average cow produces 50,000 pounds per annum. To maximize milk production, dairy farmers use specialized breeding programs and force-feed cows. They also use hormones, antibiotics, and drugs to treat the cows. All these additives cannot be removed from the milk we drink every day.

Many Americans, including those who follow the pH Miracle diet are cutting out dairy products and enjoying very positive results. Recent research has shown that milk consumption can cause intestinal irritation, colic, allergic reactions, and anemia in children and infants. Children can also experience allergies, tonsil and ear infections, childhood diabetes, asthma, and colic. As a result, today’s milk is supposedly natural and has caused many problems in adults, including heart disease, allergies, asthma, and arthritis.

You will discover that dairy is not as safe and healthy as we think. This will also help you understand why milk and related products aren’t included in the pH Miracle diet’s acidic food list.
